Sarah Andrews is a Board Certified Clinical Nurse Specialist. After becoming a Registered Nurse in 1997 in the United Kingdom, Sarah has worked as a Registered Nurse in Oman, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, as well as the United States.

Sarah earned her RN diploma from Oxford Brookes University, UK, in 1997, her Bachelors in Nursing from London Southbank University, UK, and her Masters and Clinical Nurse Specialist credentials from University of Cincinnati, US, in 2012. Since becoming a Stroke Coordinator in 2012, Sarah has worked to build Stroke Programs at St David’s Medical Center in Austin and Baylor Scott and White Medical Center Lakeway. Sarah also has additional education and credentials in the clinical areas of Progressive Care, Medical Surgical Nursing and Stroke.

In 2013, Sarah was proud to lead St David’s Medical Center in their efforts in becoming the first Comprehensive Stroke Center in Central Texas. In December 2015, Sarah led Lakeway Regional Medical Center in becoming a Primary Stroke Center, accredited by The Joint Commission.

As the Stroke Program Coordinator at Baylor Scott and White Medical Center Lakeway since April 2015, Sarah has worked with Dr. Darryl Camp in building the stroke program. The future includes community education, Clinical staff development and working with other facilities in the region in standardizing care.

Sarah is a resident of Lakeway, and has been for 10 years. She lives here with her husband Dave and her two daughters. Her interests include traveling, spending time with family and learning Texan!
