I graduated from Stephen F. Austin State University in Nacogdoches, TX.  I started teaching 7th-grade math at a school in East Texas.  I met my husband, got married, and moved to Austin where I began working at Lake Travis ISD teaching 5th grade at LTE.  During my first (or maybe 2nd) school year at LTE, the school closed down for mold and the district farmed out each grade level to existing elementary and middle schools.  This gave me the opportunity to teach at LTE, HBMS, LWE, and then back to LTE. After my son, Wade got out of daycare, I transferred to LPE then when I decided to move to middle school when my son was in the 7th grade at LTMS.  Currently, I'm teaching at the new middle school, Bee Cave Middle School!    I've learned much from each faculty on each campus and appreciate all of the friendships along the way.
