Lamar Schrader graduated from Baylor University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English, and also did graduate work in Literary Studies at The University of Cape Town in South Africa. Mr. Schrader has 30 years of classroom experience as a high school English teacher in all levels: remedial, regular, Pre-AP, and AP Language and Composition. Mr. Schrader is a TED-Ed Innovative Educators, and is passionate about using the TED-Ed and TEDxLakeTravisHigh platforms to help students cultivate a growth mindset and curiously explore their creative ideas. He and his wife Dana, who is an Instructional Coach for LTISD, have a daughter in the 11th grade at LTHS.
