Rachel Behnke

Rachel works with the Lake Travis High School Institutes of Study, Career & Technical Education (CTE) Programs, Advisory Boards, and the Austin Community College – College Connections Program. Her position also includes providing leadership for K-12 CTE programs, Institute development, Title I programs and graduate completion rate. Originally from Lubbock, TX, Rachel is a proud graduate of Texas Tech University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Family and Consumer Science Education. After graduation, she moved to Austin and began her career as a teacher with Round Rock ISD. She then spent 7 years at Education Service Center Region 13 as a CTE Specialist. During that time she earned her Master of Education degree in Administrative Leadership from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. Rachel came to Lake Travis ISD as the College & Career Readiness Coordinator in 2014.
