Nikki Hendricks

T-HS COMPUTER SCI

Nikki Hendricks is in her second year at LTHS and is teaching Fundamentals of Computer Science and AP Computer Science Principles. Both courses allow students to discover the creativity and fun of Computer Science!

Ms. Hendricks started working in LTISD in 2007. For 8 years, she was the librarian for Hudson Bend Middle School. Ms. Hendricks has been in education for 26 years. She has taught 5th and 6th grade, been both a middle school and high school librarian, worked as a boarding school dorm parent for a boys high school dorm, and is now a high school computer science teacher.

Ms. Hendricks is also a volunteer for ChickTech Austin - a national organization dedicated to retaining women in the technology workforce and increasing the number of women and girls pursuing technology-based careers.
