My name is Lindsay Brooks, and I am a creator, storyteller, quilter, teacher, wife, mom, and reader. I graduated from Lake Travis High School in 2002. I graduated from Northwestern State University in Louisiana in 2007 with a bachelor’s degree in journalism and a minor in communications. I’m the very proud mom of a 13-year-old daughter, Hailey, who attends Hudson Bend Middle School. She’s the delight of my universe and my greatest accomplishment. I have a passion for teaching freshmen -- they require training and love and have become my favorite grade level. I teach because I love to learn, think, read, and write. I bring careful attentiveness, genuine concern, and love for English to my students. This is my 11th year at Lake Travis High School.
