Aaron Forgey

Bee Cave Middle School
Aaron Forgey was trained at the Kansas City Art Institute, a prestigious 4 year Bachelor of Fine Arts program that has been training artists since 1885. Graduating in 2000 with a degree in Industrial Design, Aaron went on to work for a publishing company managing the production of books before pursuing a Masters Degree in Architecture from UT-Arlington. Halfway through the program, Aaron realized that he enjoyed teaching his fellow classmates how to fulfill the art portfolio portion of their studies more than the actual study of architecture. He completed his Masters in Education through UT-Arlington in 2005. Aaron began his career in Hutto and Georgetown before moving on to Lake Travis Elementary in 2014. Aaron is now teaching art at LTMS. In his spare time, Aaron creates elaborate sculptural costumes and enjoys watching his daughter swim and sing. Aaron has been married to fellow art teacher, Amber Forgey since 2000 and has a teenaged daughter. Aaron received Teacher of the Year at Cooper Elementary, Georgetown ISD in 2010 and LTE Teacher of the Year/Elementary Teacher of the Year for LTISD in 2016.
